Find products which I think teenagers are likely to consume and explain why you include them or exclude them from your documentary.

I think teenagers would use alcohol – Glens vodka – as they would be committing crimes and would most probably be under the influence of substances.

I also thing they would wear Lonsdale tracksuit bottoms, these are small brands unlike Adidas and Nike much bigger which are household names.

I also recognise that should this film be shown on a public broadcasting channel, this means I will refrain from using any brand within the text.

I chose these brands because they are more affordable as they are more affordable to buy rather than the larger brands and this way I can save costs.

Article on The nation price of cinema tickets, showing how the local cinema is the most expensive cinema in surrey. Although this is the case, there are over 16% of children in poverty, which somehow is not right due to the fact that the cinemas in which are closest to these children are the most expensive.

This shows the amount of those in the surrey county who visit the cinema regularly and how often.

 35% of Preston ward in Tadworth, Banstead Surrey, are living in social housing which is twice as much as the amount of families in the whole of England, which is around 17%.

Preston holds 26% of children under 16 living in poverty, which the highest percentage of children in banstead.

 Below we can see screen shots from the Reigate and Banstead Beat (Surrey Police) Facebook page which shows news updates and coverage from any crime or warnings within the local area. The Facebook page is available for the public to comment and view all that is posted on the page.

The police have images of each other as their header as we can see and their badge on display to show their authenticity.

However, despite the seriousness of the page and what it is for also it belonging to the police and it being a community page - the seriousness doesn't linger all that much once you get reading the page.



Here we can see what appears to be candid shots of the police and community officers and that gives off a non professional look to the page. The pictures are not white backgrounds nor are they all looking into the camera and this makes the page look lazy and casual.

Here we can see an image of the police car and the caption of the picture which looks like a humorous joke the police are playing on the page to create a somewhat lighthearted mood. however this may cause other teenagers to potentially react the same way as these officers, but for it to have a backfiring affect. the affect may be the teenagers belonging to some of the parents on this site seeing this page and the light-hearted nature of it and subconsciously they may think that the police are nit very serious, the police don't really do anything or that the police are alright, they'll probably joke about it or let me off.

However this is very much not the case and will mis guide certain teenagers/ individuals of the Banstead community in making them believe or have the assumption of committing a crime of whatever form and extent - and somehow being able to get let off the hook due to the lack of discipline and seriousness to the page.

if tehre are any mothers whom visit this page or actively comments, they may also be the ones who lack the seriousness in them to inform their children about the seriousness of crime, despite the fact if we relate back to the survey which i had conducted on teenagers and their opinions of Banstead and some stating that the crime is disguised - they still must be informed and be educated on crime and just how unacceptable it is.
